You are so kind, thank you. I write short little reviews for a fortnightly paper in Dubuque; this review appeared there first. I enjoy following you on social media, and it was a nice indulgence to read you in long form. This is the first book by you that I have read. It won’t be the last. I’m glad you liked my review. That floats my boat.

Sarah is a phenomenal phenomenon—rare in her incisiveness and eloquence as she laments a world captured by the ill-intentioned, betrayed by the knowing, and abandoned by the well-meaning. Indignant yet empathetic, erudite and yet down-to-earth, she epitomizes, in my estimation, the best that education should offer, America should embrace, and humanity should be.
